In the last 35 years, the world has seen almost unimaginable change. We have mapped the human genome, invented the Internet, and seen the rise of smart phone technology. We’ve also seen the extinction of the black rhinoceros, the emergence of HIV and SARS, tsunamis, wars and the 9/11 bombings. What will be our legacy over the next 35 years? Our generation has the opportunity to make change in the health and wellbeing of Australians and the wider global community, and FHL aims to achieve this through FHL2050.

Through greater inter-professional collaboration, and widespread engagement on which issues are important to students and early career professionals in their respective health workforce environments, FHL2050 aims to create a list of the top ten goals that will form the basis of future work of FHL and help FHL to advocate effectively for positive changes in health-related issues.

The FHL 2050 workshop will allow you to contribute to the formation of these goals through collaborative discussion and debate, so that all of us together can take responsibility for the direction of health advocacy into the future.

Where will you be in the year 2050? Where do you want Health in Australia to be by 2050?
